you know how sometimes when you read a book for a second time you notice some things that you didnt before. its almost like in the time that the book was laying there, more words were added. something happened when i went and saw the Passion for the second time tonight. like seeing it one time wasnt enough, the second time got to me even more. now some may say its because it was on a bigger screen, or the surround sound, but i dont buy into that. i honestly believe there was more meaning because i came back with more understanding if that makes sense. after reading Mere Christianity, i got a new perspective on something. you know how some people always asks if God can hear us all, then how can he understand us all at the same time? well after being explained by C. S. Luis, i now know. well, in knowing that, it made the death of Christ seem more personal and made me feel like God did it for me. one on one type of thing. It was amazing. i'm not really sure if i can explain what all was said in the book, or how exactly i interpreted it, but i know theres something different going on. i have more of an understanding of a "personal" God than i ever have! its sounds kinda crazy, but i'm ok with that ;o)
